The Write It For Me home page, with message categories and the most used generators

The problem

Asking for a refund, complaining about a late delivery or cancelling a subscription means writing a message that is polite, clear and firm. Most people put it off, or send something that is easy to ignore.

What we built

Write It For Me: you say what happened, pick a tone and a goal, and it writes the message. Ten generators cover refunds, complaints, cancellations, repairs and work messages, each with its own English and Dutch page. There is no login, no database and no payment.

The prompt follows two rules that matter more than the rest. One of them: it never states legal entitlements. “I would like to request compensation” is safe for anyone to send; quoting a regulation that turns out not to apply gets a claim dismissed.

How we built it

Next.js with TypeScript. Every generator is one entry in a single config file, with its copy in both languages, its goals, its FAQ and its prompt guidance. Adding an eleventh generator is adding one entry: both pages, the homepage card, the sitemap and the prompt follow from it. Tests check the config and the prompt rules, so a later edit cannot quietly remove them.

The model sits behind any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, so switching provider is an environment variable. Every page is prerendered with its own title, description, hreflang and structured data, and analytics wait for consent and never record what people type.

The result

A clear, ready-to-send message in seconds, in English or Dutch. The text goes to the model to write the reply and is not stored anywhere.
